Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and bourbon with a hint of roast and some toffee underlying. Flavor combines sweet grains and barrel well with some vanilla, toffee and a hint of light roast in the finish.
