Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a nutmeg brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a lot of vanilla and cookie notes with roast and bitter dark grains backing. Flavor has cookie and chocolate with some soy sauce, vanilla and light roast underlying.
