At a tasting, thanks, medium bubbly head, quite clear deepish yellow color, very apealing lemon and mandarine aroma, flavor of tea, herbs and fruits, medium mellow green herbal bitterness. Nice and juicy.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey & Raphaela’s place. Thanks Alexey. Golden with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, slightly stale. Flavor starts sweetish with some malt, continues with moderately bitter fruity hops. Medium-bodied.

Taster pour at Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America. Aroma is light corn, resin, pine. Appearance is hazy light brown/dark yellow with nice sparkle, thin white foamy head, mild lacing. Taste is moderately strong along the lines of aroma. Bitter along with some fruit. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and mix of bitter/sweet finish. Overall, moderate intensity aromas and flavors but a nice balance.

March 12th bottle from AFH. I’ve wanted to review this one but wanted to wait for one to arrive fresh. 2 finger head, solid white head that fades to some solid lacing. The aroma is ridiculously good. Juicy but like that acidic orange peel aroma as well. It has that smell you get when you peel a clementine. The carb is spot on, really clean throughout with this lingering piney finish with a little grapefruit juice. It’s sweet and lingering and certainly not dry. I certainly agree with AFH on this one. 4-pack tall-boys of this would be bomb.

Poured from bottle dated 3/4/16 clear copper pour with a nice two finger white head. Aromas of pine tangerine and mild floral notes. Taste is slightly sweet with notes of tangerine citrus malt and a balanced hop finish.

Draught at WHYM, 5/15/15
Mildly hazed bright orange-copper body is topped by a large, fluffy white head showing strong retention.
Playful citrus and light stonefruit even, in the nose, showcase well-extracted hop aromatics that are backed by vibrant, yet not overly sweet honey-like malts. Complex aromatics span the juicy fruit/tropical fruit/citrus fruit spectrum and there’s a touch of biscuity/grainy malt, as well, for additional structure. No alcohol or flaws noted.
Soft and lightly sweet on the palate, the malts are presented richly extracted, while tight carbonation and a healthy dose of bitterness help to clear the palate and keep things quite crisp on the end. Marmalade, ruby red grapefruit, nectarine, mango....all kinds of enjoyable flavors. Hop acidity is pretty under control, though there’s a bit of resinous burn that probably gains a bit of strength from some light alcohol, mixing on the finish. Other than that, the beer was very, very drinkable, well-attenuated and all, with no dirty flavors and maybe just a touch of blandness from the hop particulate in suspension.

Bottle via trade, thanks Adamjackson.

Pours deep gold into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Dusty yeast and tropical fruit aromas. Sweet caramel and dry yeast upfront turning to tropical fruit and coconut (?) in the lasting finish.
