A Michigan Black IPA that was brewed with hops from Top Hop Farms in Goodrich, MI and malt from Great Lakes Malting in Traverse City, MI. During the brew, our power went out for 1.5 hours leaving our brewers in the dark.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with an earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of dark grains, citrus and bitter pine notes. Flavor is a bit thin but has dark grains, roasted malts and light pine.
