Pours pale golden, almost clear, with little to no head. Aroma of dry apple juice. Taste has an initial hint of dry apple juice, some yeastiness, moderate influence from the hops. Palate has typical cider finish, mild tartness.

Pretty darn flavorful cider, lots of dry hop flavor upfront, nice clean apple finish.

Crystal clear coloured body, that looks more of seltzer water than a typical Cider, all with a very faint golden glow and a non-existant white head. Aroma of very soft and subtle apples, ginger, honey and grass with a hint of mint mixed in as well, but fairly mild throughout. Light-bodied; Strong apple and light mint and spices (basil?) Components show through with a great effervescence and smooth sweetness that shows more from honey than from pure apple/fruit-based sugars. Aftertaste is fairly mild throughout, with only a light dose of flowers, yeast and honey, with most of the flavours coming from the pure apple notes that shine through, in a good way. Overall, a nice and enjoyable, very mild, Cider, with flavours coming through in light spices and pure sugar and quite mild otherwise. Good to sample and very clean throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 11-November-2019 for US$3,49, sampled later in the day at home in Washington on 11-November-2019.

Can from Covenhoven. Pint glass pour. Clear, indifferently pale, not quite flat, straw body. Smells like cascade hops & sweet onions, just because we don’t know any better. Taste is a weird mix of tart lemon-lime, bitter apples, seltzer & salt. Mildly tannic finish. All I got. The Hops got weird. Confused. Tastes like it should be a new flavor from LaCroix.

On tap at Citizen, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by the dry hopping, with a fairly floral character and crisp apple skins underneath. Flavour is more impressive, with a lightly sweet floral dry hopping upfront, followed by apple skin sweetness. Finished fairly sweet and floral. Solid.

Draft at the source. Crystal clear very pale yellow with bubbles. Aroma of citrus and hay. Apples still come through in the flavor but it’s earthy citrus dominated. Trying to appeal to beer geeks...

Draught at Sneakers, 3/24/18.
Pale, lime-tinted, straw-brass. Crystal clear.
Strong acidity, almost lemon oil-tinged, with green apple skin-like notes, tannin and very dry, acidic juice. Bit of leafy, peppery cascade with more orange rind and lemon.
Peppery, rather loose, forced carbonation kind of ruins the mood right away. Off-dry with very low hop character, almost an afterthought of orange blossom and light vegetal character. Clean enough, I guess, with dull tannin, not-well-integrated acidity and lots of blandness and water on the finish.
