Keg at BD Bingoham, 02/08/19. Hazed orange golden with a decent white head. Nose is mixed tropicana, pine, ripe melon, grass, papaya. Taste comprises orange pith, light dank kiss, melon, pine, grapefruit, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy to lightly dankened hop bitterness. Decent IPA.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours quite soupy yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Nice dank sauce, plenty of pureed tropical fruits, melon, nectarine, soft bitterness, a little alcohol. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Just a nip of boozy warmth in the finish, some pale bready sugars, pulpy orange juice, mango, papaya. Solid.

Sampled at the brewery, pours a creamy yellow, creamy head. Musty nose, wet grist, melon, lemon blossom. Flavor has much of the same, melon, citrus, orange blossom, some honey. Finishes with a lot of stone fruit. Solid. 7 4 7 4 13

Draft at the brewery, Darker orange / golden colored body, clear, with a good sized and thick white head. Aroma of oranges, weak tropical fruit, grass, mild grapefruit on the background. Taste has citrus, oranges, grapefruit, light tropical fruits, decent malt base. The bitterness is moderately strong. Medium to thin in body. Pretty good but nothing overwhelming for my own tastes. Still enjoying it.

Draught at the brewery, 7/8/16.
Cloudy/heavily hazy, brass-gold beer has a medium-sized white head with moderate retention.
Juicy fruits in the nose are slightly offset by a pinch of pine and grapefruit. Just enough to balance, while soft, pils-like malts collect in the background. Cracker, honey and biscuit all do their usual thing and the juiciness is quite fragrant and lasting. No alcohol or flaw.
Dankness, light pine (resin-free) and white grapefruit balance mango-lime juice and there’s a succulent caramel-tinged honey-like maltiness to soften everything. Tight carbonation and good attenuation make for an excellent, top-notch rendition of the New England IPA. I like the little bit higher than average amount of dank, spicy green character and light pine. Really right up there with TH Green and approaching Sap-like qualities too.
So for those of you counting at home, the list of confirmed legit New England IPA makers is:
Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, Tree House, Trillium, Fiddlehead, Foam, River Roost, Bissell Brothers, Proclamation, Tilted Barn, Other Half, Tired Hands, Forest and Main, Night Shift, Grimm and at times, Deciduous. Still need to try Brick and Feather, Steady Habit and more Foley Brothers. Sure I’m forgetting a few and haven’t discovered many others, but the search continues in earnest!

64 ounce growler, very hazy orange, 1 finger white head. Looks really pretty in the glass like lemonade. Lemon cake, mmmmm and a lot of orange juice fills the nose. Really spritzy, seltzer water mouthfeel. Juicy, a little bit of sweetness here with some cracker and peach skin. A lot of pine at the finish.
