Our modern take on an American Pale Ale features four hop varieties balanced by a crisp malt bill of pale and caramel malts. The beer is complexly aromatic, supremely hoppy, dry, and thirst-quenching. Soft notes of citrus, papaya, and grapefruit dance on the tongue before a delicate citric bitterness finishes things off. A refined Tree House classic! Read the original story here.

From can at home. Hazy yellow golden color with nice white head. Hoppy aroma, heavy fruity, melon, stone fruits, tropical fruits, some onion hoppy notes after a couple of minutes and only for a couple of minutes, some herbal spicy notes. Moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter taste like aroma, with some grassy notes. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Can (one off from de Bierkoning). Pours cloudy deep yellow. A rocky white head with good retention. Aroma's of citrus, tropical fruit, resin and danky hops. Retronasal it's resinous, dank, citrussy, a bit lactose.. Flavor is light moderate bitter, citrussy/fruity, even a touch of sweetness. Light bodied. Pleasant carbonation. Finishes with a bit of caramel malt, light moderate bitter.

16 oz. can with a canning date of 11-30-17. Yep, a hazy pale ale appearance. Aroma is citrus pith, papaya, weak pine, caramel.

Flavor of grapefruit, floral hints, and a sturdy caramel malt backbone. The caramel is already turning this to the sweet side. Hop profile is subtle and showing very low bitterness. Nice soft mouthfeel. Overall, it smells great but the flavor doesn't match the great nose.

Pretty cloudy beige beer, big creamy irregular yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very nice, super fruity, citrus, grapefruit, is that lactose? vanilla touch, some tropical fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, soft bitterness, bit sweet, some grapefruit, bit grassy. Aftertaste: more grapefruit, pretty sweet, some vanilla, bit resinous, some sweet caramel malts, lactose touch?
