We tried to get the maximum of malt fullness and hop bitterness to this pint of draught beer. This is how Antonín was created. A beer made in the original Czech way "by three mashes" with a long fermentation process for lagers. Taste the heritage of our ancestors in a dewy pint!

(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of crisp-bread, honey, citrus and apricots. Malty taste with bread, honey, citrus peel, apricots and a balanced herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Well balanced and refreshing. Quite nice.

Can at home (4.6% version). Light and crisp pilsner, not overcomplicated but it doesnt need to be. Perhaps a bit too thin, but could be ideal for sessioning on a hot summer day.?

Bottle picked up from Kaufland, Prachatiche, Czechia and consumed at home Friday 15th March 2024, about to cook a Seafood Paella and listening to Fat Dog - King of the Slugs. Pours clear gold, actually there might be a smidgen of haze, there is a large large white head, really good bitterness, soft mouthfeel. Better of the two Primator beers that I've had thus far this afternoon/early evening.

Helle, klare Farbe. Riecht nach Leichtbier (eine recht typische Mischung aus dumpfem Malz und dem Glas Wasser in dem man in der Grundschule im Kunstunterricht den Pinsel ausgewaschen hat). Schmeckt dann aber (obwohl nur 4,0 % Alk.) erstaunlich voll und noch erstaunlicher gut. Schöne Getreidenote. Frucht, florale Noten und Gewürze nur in winzigen Spuren vorhanden. Hopfung auch eher dezent. Erst wenn sich das Glas langsam dem Ende nähert merkt man überhaupt, dass hier irgendwas fehlt. Erst im letzten Viertel des Glases (wenn das Bier auch schon etwas auf Temperatur ist) bemerkt man eine leichte Disharmonie und einen etwas galligen Nachgeschmack. Bis dahin macht das Bier aber einen recht guten Job. Hier auf Ratebeer ist im Zweifel fast alles aus Tschechien immer automatisch ein Pilsener - Bohemian / Czech. Ich bezweifele, dass das hier der richtige Beerstyle ist. Für mich ist das ein typisches Schankbier - der schwindsüchtige Bruder des Hellen.

Bottled@Mats. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some floral and mild herbal tones. Flavour is grainy, sweet malts, herbal and some herbs.

Gulbrun klar med hvitt skum. Lukter smør og lyst brød. Lett. Søt, maltig smak. Smørkarsmell og noe gjær. Livlig. Kort.
