Tight fluffy white head left a rocky cover on a hazy dark amber coloured still body. Pine grapefruit & resin aroma with a hint of malt. Medium bodied, tingly on the front with a smooth creamy back. Grapefruit, pine, resin, pith & bitter fruit tastes with a long tangy finish. Great West Coast style IIPA

9th November 2019
Almost clear orange- gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. The smooth soft sweetish caramel streaked malts. Ripe orange, spicy, some marmalade. Light pine. Light finish. Very old fashioned but in a boring way, and not a retro charming way.

33 cl bottle at Polar pub, Madrid. It pours cloudy amber to honey, with a thick, long-lasting, tan head. Aroma is intense: honey, mango, rocket. Mouthfeel is dense, creamy, low carb and full-bodied. Taste starts slightly sweet, then fresh, to end incredibly bitter and long-lasting. Quite nice, meant to be sipped calmly and mindfully.

Botella 33 Cl en el Kraken 10.. 02..2019. Color anaranjado turbio con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores maltosos y cereales ligeramente tostados con buena dosis de afrutados dulces. Suave amargo final. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica. Cierta densidad, algo áspera en boca y seca al final. Buena, se puede repetir.

“Imperial IPA” by Slovenia’s best known new craft brewer, thanks Davor! Bubbly, medium thick, off-white, bit irregular, slowly opening head over lightly hazy, warm orangey apricot blonde robe with strings of lively sparkling everywhere. Aroma of dried old grapefruit peel, dried apricot, honey candy, dried onion, dry marijuana, old lemon zest, raw pumpkin. Sweetish onset, cleanly fruity with more or less restrained notes of lychee, mango and granadilla, smooth and oily mouthfeel, softishly carbonated but not as vinous as it ought to be for IIPA; slick caramelly malt body, bit resinous and quickly soaked in sweetly aromatic, citrusy hop goodness, grapefruit peel, marijuana and sweet shallot impressions included. Long and drying bitterness, but nothing overly harsh or astringent. A very pleasant and easily drinkable hop bomb, but feeling more like an old school DIPA than a true IIPA, for which it lacks ‘force’, intensity and barleywine-esque ‘vinousness’.
