Lone Wolf is the herald of the new wave of Slovenian hops production. We have used the Styrian Wolf hops exclusively and the result is a balanced beer with a distinct taste and the aroma of ripe tropical fruit, melon, conifers and citruses.

Bottle from somewhere in Maribor (?).
A: hazy amber, small, foamy, off-white head.
A: red apple, plum jam, caramel, old biscuit.
T: sweetish apple & plum, biscuit, mandarin peel.
F: softly bitter herbal hops, citrus peel & apple.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Okay, quite yeasty and malty though.

(bottle 0,33l Advent calendar from Beershop.cz online shop) Overall: Nice unusual hoppy. Good. Aroma: Citrusy, lemon, tropical fruits, floral. Appearance: Hazy golden. Long lasting white head. Taste: Light sweet, malt, citrusy, lemon. Palate: Medium body. Bitter finish.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, dried fruits, some gingery tones. Flavour is citrus, some dried fruits, mild floral tones as well as some grassy elements. Quite a bitter finish.

0,44 l can. Pours amber golden with lasting, frothy off white head. Aroma of citruses, pine, plenty vanilla, tarty, slightly sweet. Taste is medium sweet and bitter. Carbonation is subdued. Finish is quite long, vanilla fades to pleasant bitterness. Good one.

Can via Bombovar. Med-thin body, med-low carbonation, could use more bubbles. Med-high bitterness, low sweetness. Oxidizes really fast, had light oxidation going in already. Hops character is resiny, citrusy tangerine, and general fruitiness, but only moderate intensity overall. Not great, not terrible.
