Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 11/04/22. Black with a good sized tan head. Nose is dark malts, mellow roast, dried fruit esters, dusty hops, spice, cocoa sprinkle. Taste comprises dark malts, chocolate, light roast, charr, ashen notes, dried fruits, raisins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tasty enough stout if finishing a little on the thin side.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown with off white head. Aroma smokey, rich roasted malts, and more malts. Taste is hoppy forward that leads into that big roasted rich malty backbone.

Virtually black with a frothy, beige head. Aroma full of coffee, milk chocolate and roasted grains Taste is roasted bitter over a chocolate and caramel sweetness. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. The somewhat watery texture is the only real flaw in an otherwise well executed, classical stout.

Pours black with brownish head. Aroma roasted malts and hops feeling. In taste there is good balance between roasty feeling and hoppiness. Medium body and carbonation. Good bitterness, very drinkable. Nice stout. Good one!!!!

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, dry cocoa, a touch of mocha, dark chocolate, whiffs of scallions, soya sauce. Taste is bitter, roasty and chocolately, dark malty, notes of coffee, roasted coffee beans, dry cocoa, hints of scallions, dark chocolate, a fruity hoppy touch of tangerine, tangerine zest; lingering, bitter, roasty finish. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and dry, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Quite bitter, i.e. roasty and hoppy bitter, Black IPA allusions - very nice.
