Pours hazy golden color, topped with a large frothy white head, pretty lasting. Pleasant citrusy tropical nose with some grassiness way in the back. Fruity start, a bit sweet with solid hoppy bitterness, grassy finish. Lasting aftertaste. As it promises, hoppy lager. Medium bodies, fresh and easily enjoyable.

Boca 0,33L - još jedno odlično pivo iz Medvedgrada, nazivno je lager ali ostavlja dojam pale ale, odlična aroma, dovoljno gorčine, veselim se idućem susretu!!!

Tap at Salon Piva. Golden color with medium white head. Strong aroma of citrus hops with notes of malt. Solid malty base followed by nice citrus hoppy kick. Long hoppy bitter finish. Nice hoppy driven beer.

0,1l from tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava. As Medvedgrad Balthazar. yellow lightly hazy color, small white head. smells citiric, lightly leathery, spices, grassy, hints of caramel, herbs. nice smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, leathery, grassy, light exotic fruits, mango, spices. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of citrus, leather and mango. nice one overall, nice hoppy notes but a bit on the grassy / herbal side. overall rather drinkable and nice beer.

Tap at Salon piva. High attenuation and an impression of watery thin body as a result of clean fermentation character. The focus is cleanly on hops here, with med-high bitterness and lots of juicy exotic fruitiness. Very good.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy golden pour with one finger soapy white head. Average retention, very good lacing. Beautiful nose, fruity, rich with citrus. Notes of elderflower, very nice. Thin to medium body with soft texture and carbonation. Very smooth mouthfeel and palate. Refreshingly bitter taste. Aroma of hops, citrus fruit; orange and grapefruit. Earthy hops thrown into the mix. Decent malty character with subtle caramel notes. Long finish, moderately bitter and very dry. Overall, quality brew. Tasty summer refreshment. Clean, crisp and nicely balanced.

On tap at Mali Medo, Zagreb. Pours orange, medium white head. Citrusy, hoppy aroma, nice. Bready, malty, citrus, fruit. Sweetish, light to medium bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, bit empty for me. Not bad, however not my thing.

On tap at Mali Medo Zagreb. Unclear golden coloured, small to medium sized thick white head, pleasant fruity hoppy nose. Sweet malty, light biscuity, heavy citrusy fruity hoppy with moderate bitterness in the finish. Pleasant long-lasting bitter aftertaste. No way that I’ll match this one on blind test as a lager. Great job again.
