Reviewed from notes.
From the can into a pint glass, the appearance was a slightly cloudy, golden-amber color with a one and a half finger white foamy head that dissipated within about forty five seconds.
A decent amount of stringy lacing stuck and then slid into the body.
The smell had a sweet grapefruit, strong piney hops, becomes slightly tropical and then lets in an ample amount of caramel-esque to slight biscuit malts.
The taste took the previously mentioned flavors and added a light zesty grapefruit peel.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable quality about it. Its got a slight crisp yet dry finish.
Overall, I’d say this was a pretty good IPA I’d take to the dome again.

Can. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of pine with some grass, a touch of bitter citrus and grain backing. Flavor has notes of pine and touches of grass and resin backed by sweet grains.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a decent head and aromas of papaya, lemon and a little mango. Flavor is a very nice mix of tropical and citrus fruit with a kind of dusty grain presence from the malt, which lends a little bit of flabbiness to the beer. That said, the nice hops presence helps the beer rise above the malt.

Can to shaker. Clean light gold. Good, "basic" IPA. Balanced crisp, fresh taste. Enjoyed this beer.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, no canning date. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with bright citrus/floral hops and light-moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity of citrus/floral and moderate malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice IPA. All around good balance and complexity of bright citrus/floral hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. Feels like an all around classic example of an American IPA, very enjoyable.
