Blind tasting @ home. Pours a pretty clear dark yellow appearance with an off white head. A lot of banana and bubblegum in the aroma. Slightly light bodied. Moderately sweet and spicy. Low bitterness. A lot of apple, banana, and pear notes in the flavor. Ok but a little one dimensional.

Bottle. Pours clearish gold with a bone white head. Good lacing. Nose/taste of herbs, yeast, wheat malt, lemon grass and dried citrus. Finishes mild spice with some alcohol. Medium body.

Aroma is awfully grainy, especially for a Tripel, stewed apples and tomatoes underneath. Clear amber, thin head. Sweet grain and pie crust, but with a touch of DMS, pumpkin notes. I swear a detected cinnamon, with orange and clove on the finish. Were this a pumpkin ale, the flaw could be concealed, but it is not, and it isn’t. Really strangely, this drinks like a pumpkin ale, hardly a Tripel. Something is not right.

Served on draft at the restaurant. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of candi sugar, pale malts, tannins, something chemical and some booze. The taste is banana, citrus, bread, spice, tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, wine-like and a little all over the place, but still good.

Draft. This one has an aroma and a flavor of slightly sour bubblegum. Not a bad beer at all, but it’s off style.
