You know you're in Germany when one of the beer flight glasses has a sausage in it. Good Helles!

On tap at the brewpub. A almost clear pale golden beer with a small most good lasting white head. Aroma of mild grassy hops, mild grainy malt. Taste of mild grassy hops, pale malt, soft citrusy hops, okay.

On tap at the brewpub, 0.1l sampler. Smooth mild beginning. Grainy, refreshing with a neutral bitterness. Round and smooth, fresh with a malty sweetish finish. Nice but a bit grainy-sweetish.

Draught @ the brewpub, 4.8%. Pours nearly clear pale straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with faint notes of malt amd paper. Bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced estery notes and touches of malt. Bitter and cardboardlike aftertaste with touches of yeast. Drinkable but nothing really special.
