Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains with grass and earthy citrus supporting. Flavor has a good amount of straw and grass with some growing citrus bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear light golden color with a white head. The aroma has some bright lemon/lime with a hint of caramel. The flavor is the same with more lemon/lime and mostly a pale malt backbone with a touch of honey. A little spice in a moderately bitter finish. Very good.

Draught @ Duck Foot Brewing Co, San Diego. Aroma has sweet pineapple notes and tropical fruits. A bit foamy palate. Flavour has pineapple juice, tropical fruits and some grapefruit. It seems that they know how to brew IPAs but nothing else.

Poured up on tap at K & B Wine Cellars where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up pleasing levels of pineapple and mango blended with mild fresh citrus hop notes. The taste is just what I’m after. The smooth body ushers in juicy pineapple and tangelo leading into some mango pieces. A few more sips reveals the modest booziness going on here tangled up with growing hop bitterness. Pretty solid as it’s full of hoppiness and bitterness as well as being a little rough around the edges, as an IIPA should be.
