This limited edition beer is a celebration of geekiness and passion for quality products. We teamed up with our friends from the cultural coffee spot Espresso Studio to showcase a different coffee with every release. Maybe we’ll add in something extra too. Expect aromas of chocolate covered espresso beans, a soft silky body and just the right amount of acidity to create a delightful coffee beer experience.

Pitch black, espresso head. The aroma is mostly coldbrew, with some balancing dark sugars behind. Pretty strong coffee, not deranging though. That is to say, it is a bit too straightforward. The coffee is strong in the flavour as well, adding a layer of, well, coffee and earthy roast over the malt sugars. On the negative side, if stills a bit of the malty/hoppy beautiful simplicity of the base stout. Good heat, smooth body. Overall, a tad too coffee forward... Still, a solid first batch and and enjoyable sipper.
