Our India Pale Ale uses New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops to add a fresh flavor profile to the India Pale Ale. Big Nelson hop aroma in the nose; complex fruit bouquet and flavor with a supporting malt backbone. The India Pale Ale name hales from British Imperialistic times when Britain would send beer to their troops in India. The high ABV and hop charges imparted a preserving effect on the beer to allow it to weather the 6 month journey.

It poured up at the brewery with a clear deep gold body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up juicy mango and tangelo like fruity hoppiness that has a slight bitter resiny hoppy sort of thing at the edges of the juicy aromatics. The taste is similar as I get a nice juicy mango and tangelo hoppiness that flows into a modest level of bitter resiny hops that seem to have an edge of spicy onion hops. This all makes for a very pleasing hoppy flavor that has plenty of balance and depth with juicy and resiny hops. I love it. Top notch IPA.
