Bottle (April 2016) @ anti-carnavalstasting 2018. Hazy orange to amber colour with a large white head that doesn't last long. Smells sour, vinegar, fruity, dusty. Tastes sour, dusty, fruity, slightly tangy. Not overly sour. Medium body, too much carbo.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of acidic sourness, oak, barnyard, citrus and old grain. Taste has lots of acidic sourness, old grain, funky barnyard, citrus and more sourness. Man this is sour, it burns. Ouch.

Sourish woody beginning. Deep, woody. More like a combination of a Gueuze and a Flemish Red ale. Round and smooth, woody with funky vinegar hints. Interesting and very dry.

8 3 7 3 15 Bottle shared at home thanks to Sjogro. Hazy orange amber with an off white head. Aroma of dry cellar funk, cobwebs, dusty notes and citrus. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and heavy sour. Medium bodied with a sour burn in the finish and soft carbonation. [28/06/2017]

Bottle shared at kermis’s. Slightly hazy golden amber with white head. Sour grain, big horse blanket funk, almond, wood glue, lactic notes. Strong vinegrous sour, moderate bitter, still some sweetness coming through. Medium body, soft carbonation. First impression is a really nice funk but the crazy high acidity turns to spoil some of the fun. --- Beer merged from original tick of Watergeus "Extra Zuur" on 26 Dec 2017 at 11:47 - Score: . Bottle sampled at Brett fest at De Prael. Clear golden with good sized white head. Light glue, yoghurt, cornflakes, white grapes, acetone, oxidized fruits, overripe dark fruits, soft bready. Very sour and soft bitter. Medium bodied with soft but fizzy carbonation. Slightly burning, a bit similar to Meastreechts Aajt unblended in the harshness though this is way better. Still to much corn and acetone.
