Bottle from the brewery. Thick, inky black, nice viscosity. Aroma is bourbon, sweet, earthy, peaty malt. Taste is bourbon, light spiciness, sweet malt. Smooth, silky texture, soft carbonation, slight spicy alcohol warmth, finish as taste. This version doesn't bring out other elements besides bourbon and the base stout but the balance is good and it's so smooth so still quite enjoyable. Difficult to solo dome.
