16 ounce Prowler bought at Liquor Shed in Casper.
Pours a clear red, small head of white foam, decent lacing.
Smells malty with hints of smoke and the chilies.
The taste has a mix of toasted and bready malt, lightish heat from the chillies, lighter presence of smoke. Ok, it takes a while but the heat builds after the swallow to a more respectable level. That's what I was looking for.
Medium body until the finish where it gets thinner.
All in all, a decent stab at a Chili beer. I can't say that I get anything from the squash other than the smoke.
