Dark brown, a bit of raisin on the nose, tart on the palate mixing raisin and some tartness. Chocolate raisins with a shot of reposado rum.

Can. Malty aroma and taste, chocolate, vanilla, raisins, rum, light roastyness, light sweet, medium bitter. Full body, malty chocolate, bitter sweet finish with the flavoures of all those ingredients. Very good.

Poured from 330mL can @ Weathered 2023. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Roast malt, vanilla, feint hint of rum and molasses, toffee. Not overly full bodied, but okay.

Dégustée le 12 Août 2022. Vanille cacao et rhum constituent les premières impressions olfactives. Le chocolat biscuité est également très présent dans cette palette aromatique, complexe et élégante. Mousse de couleur moka, crémeuse et pétillante, se maintenant assez bien sur le liquide noir et opaque. En bouche, c’est vanillé, chocolaté et chaleureux, avec une palette bien pâtissière. Les notes de caramel sont également assez intenses. Moyennement amère, la finale relève quelques notes terreuses qui se combinent à l’alcool juste assez bien dosé. Bottle at home. Three year old. Has a dark brown to black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of tobacco, dark chocolate, coca cola, peanuts, leather, rubber and nougat. Flavour of ash, dark chocolate, nuts, leather, tobacco, rubber and some rum. Has a soft and silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a medium to heavy bitterness. Tasteful, sweet and fairly bitter in the aftertaste. A little bit unbalanced.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, alcohol warmth, light vanilla, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light meaty notes, very nice. On tap at L'autre oeil.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some dry raisin and rum notes is quite nice. Taste is also a good balanced mix between some dry raisin notes with some rum and black chocolate with finat residual sugar notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation with some light warming alcohol notes. I love the mix of dry raisin and rum in this stout.
