Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lace. Malt, fruit and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, caramel and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Keg at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy amber, small head. Sulphury fruity nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Ripe pears, soap and minerals, notes of toast. Low bitterness. Would not have guessed this was supposed to be be an altbier.

Tap @ Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and bready. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 270716

Draft @ Taproom, Malmö. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel aroma. Fruity malty grainy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Deutlich bitterer Antrunk mit geringer Malzigkeit. Diese könnte durchaus stärker sein, die Bitterkeit dagegen ist zu stark. Würzig, nicht unbedingt wie in Düsseldorf aber nett. 11/8/9/8//9

Taster @ Bagby Beer Company with richiesd etc. Clear copper/amber color. Off white head. Aroma’s: caramel, red fruit, with additionally fruit candies retronasal. Flavor is almost neutral, just lightly sweet, some red fruit. Light bodied, quite thin actually. Finishes slightly dry, light bitter. OK.
