American wheat ale brewed with cherry and pomegranate.

Our Sea Rose tart cherry wheat ale is a fresh take on fruit beers. Originally conceived during an employee-led R&D brew, it’s one of our most imaginative recipes yet. The American wheat style is light and clean, while fresh cherry juice adds a soft coral color and fruity nose that gives way to a dry, slightly tart finish. It’s approachable, yet unexpected—exactly what we love to brew.

12 oz bottle purchased as single at Tipsy's Wine and Spirits in Mission, Kansas. The pour is a mostly clear golden with fine carbonation bubbles rising to the surface building up a small white head. The aroma is wheat grain along with some faint pomegranate and cherry stone fruit. The taste is clean wheat beer along with some nice cherry fruit and a bit of funk and vanilla towards the back. Tart pomegranate present as well. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a husky wheat and softly cherry tart finish. Easy drinking beer.

12oz bottle pours with a clear pinkish copper body that supports a thin light tan head.  The aroma offers up a wheat note and then tart cherry blended with white table sugar. The taste provides a thin body with a bit of grounding wheat struggling up against the tart cherry. Toward the finish the wheat gains some ground on the tart cherry to help the flavor experience out a bit. Behind those notes is a thin sweet sugary sensation that really isn't helping matters.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a more copper tint and a smaller, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of crisp wheat with a heavy dose of flowers and very tart lemons and a touch of more perfumey fruits along with a dry coriander seed finish. Very light-bodied; Strong dry flavours up front that go down very easily with more perfume and tart crisp lemons and limes than anything else. Perfume and some more mellow coriander seed make this relatively easy drinking as well. Aftertaste shows the fruits and tartness at first with a very mellow malt profile and only a touch of wheat and dryness noticeable at the end, this is more tart and subdued wheat than anything else and a bit of perfume at the end with the faintest bit of hops as well. Overall, a nice crisp and very light beer that shows some nice characteristics, but nothing amazing nor complex - you get the flavours immediately and have them throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle given to me by a hockey teammate and sampled after my hockey game on 17-January-2018, in Arlington, Virginia - Thanks Nick!

From a 355ml bottle on 3/1/2018. Pours a pink tinged clear golden with not much head. The nose is very subdued with just a whiff of fruit. Flavour wise, its light and zesty, with a distinct cherry taste, and you also get the pomegranate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Reasonably refreshing, but this type of thing is not really my bag.

355ml bottle into shaker. Very slight aroma of indistinct fruit. Golden amber beer with a small frothy head. It's light and malty with hints of fruit in the finish. Very understated but super easy drinking.
