Bottle from HoTM it pours clear pale yellow - blonde with a fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, soft, juicy, orangey fruits, apricot, peach, orange squash, kumquat, blossom, marmalade, some pine, bread and cracker. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing level of bitterness, touch green, piney, light resin, pithy, zesty, orange peel, kumquat, apricot, persimmon, mango, bread, biscuit and a nip for alcohol with a drying, orangey fruits finale. Medium body and moderately carbonated. Firm and flavourful. Satisfying.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Lime, grapefruit, bitter lemon & tangerine aromas. Fresh citrusy flavours with a spot of baked apple coming through in the back end. Heavy hoppy aftertaste. Most refreshing.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity and slightly grassy, minimally herbal, hoppy aroma, minimally husky, pale malty background, hints of lemon, lemongrass, very weak overtones of mint, menthol, woodruff. Taste is mildly bitter, citrusy fruity and minimally herbal hoppy, slightly husky, minimally biscuity, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness, hints of lemon, lemongrass, a weak touch of lemon balm, lime, very weak overtones of woodruff, mint; a touch of orange peel in the finish.
Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Typical Kernel IPA concerning the hybrid character mixing NE and West Coast aspects, a bit simple "at first sip", but kinda late bloomer, eventually sporting some subtleties; nevertheless not a top-shelf Kernel brew.

Bottle. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, a mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft pale malts, a smooth ripe creamy sweetness. Soft pine. Fruit salad and ripe rounded citrus. Airy semi dry finish. As a huge nerdy Kernel fan from back in the day, this is just new brewery boring. Sad. Well, I am anyway.
