Bottled December 2017, drunk 2/3/18.
Fully cloudy, pale, blonde-straw. Large, white head to ring.
Very nice, juicy pineapple and nectarine open up the nose. Little bit of white grape/white wine mixing with soft vanilla-lacto and light cereal/biscuity wheat. Not a huge expression of Galaxy, but it is over a month old. So the lacto seems to outdo the hop here, though overall it's still nicely integrated, as usual for this series.
In the mouth it's well-executed/produced, with soft vanilla in the background and creamy, malty grain and lacto creating a soft texture in concert with tight carbonation. Good attenuation and soft, but enjoyable presentation of the hop. Much, much less messy than Power Pop. Vanilla grows a bit too strong as the beer wears on with a bit too much thinning of texture and heavy dryness throughout. Yet it still remains clean and mostly soft. Hints of pleasant Galaxy-like spice linger gently on the finish. No alcohol or flaw.

Bottle. Pours very hazy yellow, large creamy white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is tropical, sour mash, strong vanilla, donut glazing. Flavor is light tart, light plus sweet, minimal bitterness. Light plus body, smooth moutfeel. Gets sweeter and sweeter with time. Too much of a desert thing. Vanilla is heavy handed.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 12/2017. Pours very hazy pale golden/straw color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Mild lactic tartness and zesty/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/grainy, and lightly acidic/sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is an outstanding dessert style Berliner weisse! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, citrus/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink, with the mildly acidic/drying finish. Tastes like tropical fruit ice cream in a way. Awesome balance of fruity Lacto, juicy hops, vanilla, lactose, and malts. Not overly sweet or lactic either way. A highly enjoyable offering, unique, and spot on style example as expected.

Draft at Salud. Murky yellow color white head with solid lacing. Aroma of sourdough bread and earthy lemon. Taste is earthy, not quite dank with lightly tart mixed citrus. Maybe my favorite of the Pop series.

Wow, not sure I can think of another sour with such an intense vanilla hit
