Single from Mr. B's. Stemless back at the hotel. Dark brown on black, opaque pour. Sticky, messy, coffee cream head. Malty, stuffy, odd funky fruit & mildly smokey meat nose. Bittersweet coffee, brown sugar sweetness, coffee creamer, dark fruits, burnt veggies, lingering bitter herbal, extra toasty, light coconut oil. Frothy, stuff bubbles, thick, a touch boozy. Good.

Black with a creamy, beige head. Aroma full of heavily roasted grains. There’s touches of coffee and chocolate, but the sheer “burntness” of it dominates. Burnt bitter taste with a milk chocolate sweetness underneath. Faint tartness. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation, good chewiness. Nice balance overall. Tasty!

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can, best by date March 3, 2019 from wchesser poured into a glass. Black with big light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, medium body, medium/well carbonated, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, hops for balance, some ash, and pretty dry finish.

Sample at Arizona Strong Beer Festival 2019. Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, cocoa, nuts and chocolate. Kind of soft and easy to drink.
