The aroma opens with hazelnut and caramel, followed by roasted notes of coffee and cocoa, but also shows a noticeable alcoholic sharpness and a slightly chemical edge. On the palate, bitterness appears first, joined by dark fruit notes reminiscent of cherry. Coffee and cocoa provide depth, while the poppy seeds are clearly perceptible, adding a nutty yet slightly awkward character that disrupts overall harmony. The mouthfeel is oily and heavy, with a sticky sweetness lingering in the finish. Overall: a bold and experimental Imperial Stout that delivers intensity and originality, but struggles with balance.
