Mom took the kids to the beach for the season, so Dad is on the prowl using his alias, “Rodriguez”. Just like Dad is using his disguise, this IPA is hiding behind loads of rye grain to bring out a spicy and fragrant flavor profile that is sure to lure you in.

spennende og fyldig med tydelig rug-preg. Rug er veldig undervurdert som ølingrediens

Bottle. A crystal clear amber colored beer topped by a dense, beige head of finger-thick size. Quite malt dominated nose, but the grassy, piney hops kick in and blends nicely with the malts. Still, it feels a bit old, which it also is. Unfortunately. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, with piney, grapefruity hops. Bready malts and a spiced rye-ish touch. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Long hop dominated finish with a solid maltyness. Think I better get hold of a fresh bottle. But it’s nice anyway. Especially like the bitterness. 151107

330ml bottle. Clear amber coloured body under a pearl white, bubbly head that stayed for a while leaving lacing rings down the glassware. Brown malty aroma with a solid citrus touch. Malt and fruity hops come well together in the taste character, hints of dark bread, caramel and dark fruits. Malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Rounded and nice (with Ellen outside at VertsHuset Skarven, Tromsø 28.08.2015).
