bottle from Taj Mahal (local Indian restaurant) - Pours clear yellow with a small, white, fizzy head. It smells of grainy malt and a slight hint of fruit. It tastes of cereal malt with a little bitterness. Light bodied and kind of watery, it’s drinkable but disappointing.

12 oz bottle at Indian Restaurant. Pretty much exactly what I expected. A non-offensive, pale lager. Not skunked. More malted than most international lagers I’ve had.

Bottle. Brewed by Blossom Industries, LLC for United Breweries Ltd. Now subtitled Indian Pilsner. Aroma of light floral/grassy hop. Dark gold color with not much of a white head. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is light malt, with just enough grassy hop to show up. That said it’s actually rather pleasant, if you don’t concentrate on what beer could be. The finish turns a little bitter. Good for a pale lager, not impressive as a pilsner. Still, it’s clean, and might be considered refreshing.

Bottle: Yellow, faint aroma of malts. Taste is better than expected, but not great. Smooth malt taste with very little sour in the tail. Basic and unoffensive.

Pale yellow lager with a thin white head. Intringuing aroma of light apples and watermelon. But in mouth, cardboardy malt with rather chalky mouthfeel, lighter bodied, and plain. Bottle is Batch 888, born on 02/2004.

Better than average for the style. Gold color. Heavily carbonated. Corn in the flavor. Spritzy; like sparkling wine.

Pale golden color with a perfumy nose with a touch of malt. Grassy mouth with a modest amount of hops and dry finish.

Clear straw-colored body, thin/medium off-white head. Light biscuity aroma with grassy hops. Herbal, grassy flavor with a touch of biscuit and toast. Basic but respectable.

Paid $1.50 for an 11oz single. Very light yellow in color, very large white head. Smells of sweet grasses and wheat. Taste is also very sweet and grassy... not bad, though not my first choice when picking a beer to drink.

Very slightly hazy golden colour with a thin and quick dissipating white head. Aroma of malt, metal and a bit of hops...not much though. Light-bodied; Stale vegetable taste with not much at all. Aftertaste light, mild and nothing going on at all. Overall, this beer isn't bad, but it simply lacks in flavour. I bought this 330 mL bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.
