Aida is our 2025 Pink Boots Society Collab beer. Aida de Acosta Root Breckinridge was an American socialite and aviator. She was the first woman to fly a powered aircraft solo (a dirigible to be exact)! She only took 3 flying lessons before piloting on her own. Her empowerment and determination as a woman in the early 1900’s inspired us to name this beer after her.
Pink Boots Society aims to assist, inspire and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers. We brewed this beer in support of our women of Dirigible and our fellow women and non-binary individuals across the state and this country.
Our west coast IPA (a hallmark of American IPA’s) burst with aromas of peach rings, apricot, candied orange, and an underlining of resinous pine. Fruity flavors of apricot, peach, and candied oranges, with a firm pine resin note ends with a robust bitter bite.
