Honeycomb Ice Cream Stout
We’ve teamed up with Scottish gods of ice cream Mackie’s for a rich and indulgent 7% honeycomb stout that you can eat before dessert, after dessert or forget dessert and just have this instead.
Mackie's are based on the family farm 17 miles from Brewdog's brewery, where they've been making ice cream from "Sky to Scoop" since 1986.

Pours black with a large head. Sweet aroma of toffee, caramel and honey. Flavour is honey, caramel and some roasted malt. Given the ABV the body is surpringly thin.

Opaque, dark brown, with a small, light beige head that dissipates rather quickly. The aroma is delicate, with a yogurt-like scent of ice cream, honey, and vanilla, and a slight fruitiness. Light carbonation. Velvety, oily, soft, almost flat consistency. The taste is delicately coffee and chocolate, with a noticeable caramel, and the bitterness is slightly roasted, chocolatey with a sour undertone. It lingers for a while. The finish is slightly alcoholic, reminiscent of chocolate liqueur. Good.

Can. Nose is vanilla and honeycomb, ice cream, slight strawberry, no stout at all. Taste is vanilla, honeycomb, vanilla ice cream, slightly medicinal and earthy stout note.
It's absolutely disgusting. A variety of synthetic flavours which I would expect to find in a home bargains own brand cream soda. A drain pour after five swigs.

440ml can from Tesco Extra in Chesterfield - black body with a firm tan head. Nothing finer as a kid as getting a double nougat with Mackie's Honeycomb, sickly as fuck, but one of life's little luxuries. This brings a lot of that back, chocolate heavy, sweet from the honeycomb, creamy mouthfeel. Not as sickly as I'd hoped, but a good effort.
