Can from Beer Republic. Almost clear golden orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and moderate hoppy - fruity and marmalade. Flavor is quite sweet and rather hitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. Nice and old school bitter finish. 031221

Can. Almost clear (by current standards) golden amber with a white head that fades after settling to a fat coat. Aroma of grapefruit, mango skin, pine, bread. Quite sweet before fruit and then firm bitterness come in. Well off-dry finish. A good one of a type of DIPA lots used to attempt, but the surfeit has moved on.

Mostly clear coloured body with a copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of very crisp and bitter hops with some grapefruit and resinous notes, but the malt shines here with a pungent bite and some alcohol and even metal noticeable. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malt and hop notes show through everything with a plentiful amount of earth, caramel and sweetness all ending with a bunch of hop bitterness with the grassy and resinous notes the strongest. Aftertaste shows the alcohol a bit, but the hops soon afterwards and a lot of malt too for a nice balance with a lot of deep flavours. Overall, a nice Imperial-ish IPA with a lot of hop bitterness and malt depth but not so much in terms of complexity, but that's okay! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in Chicago (River West), Illinois on 08-August-2021 for US$2,99 sampled an hour or so later on the streets of Chicago with my family on 08-August-2021.

12 oz. Aroma is cantaloupe, peach, lightly bready, orange rind, floral. Pours clear golden with a one finger bone-white head with decent retention. Taste is highly bitter and lightly sweet. Refreshingly bitter West Coast DIPA.

Not hazy or cloudy, but juicy as hell. Top. José managing the White Pelé. Exciting times, drunks!

On tap at ES. Pale amber, has some overripe fruit, a bit of decent malt, but ok

Can from the importer. Almost 3 months old. Nise is a richer version of the IPA, peaches and tropical fruit, honey malts, orange. Less minerally. Deeper orange, clear, lacy head. Nice sweet spot with the malts. Rich malts, biscuits and honey, mango, orange, very ripe tropical fruits, with a bit of heavy malt. Finishes slightly bitter and citrusy. Peppery hops last a long time with moderate to big bitterness.

Hop forward. Clear body with white head. Strong bodied. Sweet citrus aroma and more tartness in the flavour. Fast moving finish.
