Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 25.05.15. Golden. Off-white head and lacing. Moderate aroma of English hops, Sevilla orange marmelade and fresh grass. Similar taste, with evident bitterness. An excellent session beer!

Great session pint.

Nose is fruity, light strawberry, berry, malt, slight dusty stale note, slight hint of metal. Taste is lightly fruity, with a good biscuit malt backbone, earth, yeast slight pine, but again an off note of metal. Supermarket beer, not awful but with some off notes.

Bottle from the Spar. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - toffee with some floral honey on the back end. Taste - biscuit and fudge with a lemon pith note that cleans nicely. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - premium bitters come in many guises and this is a really tasty one.
