What do a three-legged dog, a made-up beer style, and a giant oak cask have to do with each other? One great beer. Four Legs Good, our Blond Quad, belies its sweet nature with a dry, full finish and sneaky strength. Fermented first in puncheons with extensive aging in oak foudres, Four Legs Good doesn’t care what you call it as long as she is along for the ride. Four Legs Good, three legs better. Sante!

Aroma of funk, peach, lime, citrus, vanilla, almonds, wood, raisins, some spices. Very pleasant, complex. Taste of funk, peach, red fruits, red currants, lemon, lime, some vanilla, almonds and woody hints. Intensive sourness. Very intensive, smooth. Well hidden alcohol. Very testy one.

Funky quad, I'm loving it. Slightly tannic, oaky, tart but mostly smooth easy drinking funk.

This is the best wild quad, American quad, blond quad whatever I've ever had I think. Not too overly Belgian estery, but that sweet quad finish is there, upfront light funk blond, awesome. Thank you my man Jose G. !

Dark orange pour, some white foam there as well. Nose has good tart red currant marmalade, freshly picked white currants, lightly musty. Tastes sweet but acidic, good pinch of vinegar thrown in, creamy and full bodied. Herbal tartness, well balanced and not too acidic. Really enjoying this one.

750ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, fading, white head. Tart-ish, fruity, oaky and mildly bretty aroma, notes of dried fruit, raisin, apricot, mirabelle, some vanilla, white pepper. Taste is tart, tangy, dry woody, fruity, slightly vinous, notes of dried fruit, raisin, apricot, hints of vanilla, oak, underlying residual sweetness; soft carbonation. Well balanced, controlled tartness without harsh edges.
