Hoppy and juicy, sweet, surprisingly malt-forward. Overripe stone fruit, a bit bitter and dank, smooth. Color seems ok but maybe some oxidation here, rating redacted. Not bad, maybe 3.6.

Down the list as one of my preferred styles, let us see what Two Roads does with a NEIPA. A pint can from Halftime, I pour inside of my ABGB tulip glass. A straw yellow body with a pillowy head of fully white foam. I smell oranges and maybe some maltiness. A drink, well, a step up. There is tangerine, grain, bread and a touch of grapefruit. A bit better than your average NE style.

Pour looks like juice. Aroma is a nice tangerine and orange combo. Flavor is another decent orange and various citrus. Decent beer but nothing to separate it from numerous other hazy IPA's

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is opaque dirty yellow with tons of effervescent sparkle at the edges of the glass finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is dank pine citrus and fruit. Taste is juicy mix of citrus (orange/tangerine family) and tropical fruit with malty backbone. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth fairly thick texture soft carbonation and finish as taste with very mild lingering dry bitterness. Alcohol hidden well. Overall very nice mouthfeel and has the right look and aroma and flavor for the style.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/16/2018. Pours very hazy/cloudy medium golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big ruby grapefruit, mandarin orange, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, honey, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big ruby grapefruit, mandarin orange, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn, pine, honey, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of ruby grapefruit, mandarin orange, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.2%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft, and not aggressive. Great Hallertauer Blanc, Citra & Mandarina Bavaria profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with great wheat/oat/malt balance. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Pours hazy golden with a fluffy white head. Intense aroma of mosaic hops. Taste is dry and lightly fruity, very light bitterness from the hops. Palate contains more tropical and citrus fruits, light spatter of mosaic and some pine notes. Excellent beer.
