330ml can - Pours a jet black colour with a large frothy tan head. Aroma is deep roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, caramel, treacle with a hint of vegetable. A sweet roasted malty taste, bitter chocolate, ginger treacle cake, caramel flavours with a roasted finish. The alcohol is there but well disguised with a warming chilli heat coming in a lingering finish.

A deep dark stout with a thin creamy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, light cinnamon, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, cinnamon, palm sugar, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. On tap at Clandestin.

330 ml bottle at the Bow Bar. Pours black with short tannish head. Aromas of dusty dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted peppers and slick roasted malts. Flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, light cinnamon, and oily roasted malts with a nice peppery heat in the finish. Great stuff.

On tap at The Madhouse, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is on the earthy side, with roasted malt and subdued cinnamon. Flavour is harsh, with intense roast, spicy cinnamon and chilli peppers. It's rather harsh, despite the decadence. It's good but a little much.
