Bottle - pours slightly cloudy, amber caramel with small white head. Strong fresh floral aroma, tropical fruit - mango and ripe banana. Smooth malty caramel sweetness, good body and long bitter finish. Need to try this one again.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. An amber pour with a thin white head; mix of pine and citrus aromas; soft and smooth in the mouth with a malty caramel body and a rich grapefruity taste; then a lingering citrusy bitterness with some warmth. A well balanced IPA.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber dark, with lasting creamy head. Big hit of hops on the aroma. Sweet, grapefruit. candied satsuma aroma. Smooth in the mouth. Moderate bitterness on the finish. Good fruit. The toffee and biscuit comes through and is quite strong. Itโ€™s quite a good IPA but more balanced in terms of malt/biscuit and fruity hop. Good though.

Bottle picked up from AP Harvey Wines, Earlsdon, Coventry, Sunday 9th November 2014 Pours mid gold, slightly hazy. Lemony nose. In the mouth it is as expected an assertive hop forward beer, but not too bossy or extreme,in fact the blend of the five hops works marvellously, its excellent. Dry finish otherwise a nice bittesweet erring on dryness throughout. Great. A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov17 4.2

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy gold. Thin, sticky, white head. Grassy. Floral. Herbal. The Sorachi is evident. Thereโ€™s a jammy, buttery thing going on, too. Taste is orange bitter. Some dry. A little meringue sweetness. Palate is zesty clean. Quite airy. Finishes long, rolling, chewy bitter. The first beer with Ella hops that Iโ€™ve liked, I think.
