Following on from Piece of Cake, our session sour from last year’s 6th birthday celebrations, we’ve gone bigger, bolder, with more slices (and even more jammy Scottish strawberries and raspberries).
Each sip finishes with a swirl of creamy vanilla icing, like eating a whole birthday cake to yourself, but with less shame, and no candles required.

Can at home. Pours hazy pinkish, nose is cake frosting, berries, cream, taste is tart raspberry, juicy strawberry, sweet, creamy. 8

Crushed strawberry colour with a minimal head. Aroma of raspberry. Flavour and texture are crushed raspberry and strawberry with a vanilla base. Bitter fruit back

Can. Hazy watermelon colour beer, small pale apricot colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness, well integrated with the abundant vanilla. Really good strawberry vibe, rich and ripe, not mushy but, ripe enough to be that classic rich strawberry flavour without any underripe tartness. Vanilla, nicely judged, keeps everything in check. Light tart finish. Don't know about cake vibes but, the vanilla and strawberry vibe is spiffin.

440ml can. Pours very hazy pinky orange with a small head. Aroma is tart, jammy raspberries and strawberries with a little vanilla. Taste has sour strawberry throughout with sour raspberries on the finish.
