In dit bier worden twee traditionele stijlen aan bier met elkaar verbonden: de mooie volle Engelse Porter (gemaakt met melasse en haver) en de fris-fruitige Noord-Franse Saison. De Porter levert de kleur, en het zachte, volle karakter, de Saison is verantwoordelijk voor het kruidige en fruitige profiel en de goede doordrinkbaarheid.

zwart met fijne kaki kraag. aroma en smaken zijn geroosterd, gebrande mout, chocolade, licht zuur, zacht, iets dun, redelijke co2, matig zoet, matig bitter, medium body. ok

Bottle 330ml. [ As Kleiburg Porter Saison ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, wheat, wood, licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, licorice, wood, dark malt, blackcurrant, hop - wood bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is lively. [20160904] 7-3-7-2-12

Bottle. Color: Almost black, fast disappearing light brown head. Taste: Roasted malts, hints of chocolate and nuts. Bitter and sweet tastes are in balance. Little sour hints. Light body, too watery.

Bottle shared. Very hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is herbal with dish washing liquid, roast, light veggies, yeast and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thin off white head. Clear almost black pour. Not a porter or a saison. Ok.
