Das Ziel hinter der Entwicklung dieses Bieres war es traditionelle Getränke, die zu Käsedinner genossen werden, zu ergänzen. Weisswein, Schnaps und schwarzer Tee sind nicht mehr deine einzigen Optionen zum Käsedinner.
Rechaud ist in der Kaltlagerung mit schwarzem Darjeeling-Tee und einer speziellen Pfeffermischung aus Tellicherry, Pondicherry, Paradieskörnern und wildem Urwaldpfeffer infundiert worden. Die Infusion während der Kaltlagerung garantiert eine langsame, schonende Extraktion der Aromen ohne viele Bitterstoffe. Es ist ein komplexerer Prozess, als bei dem Brauen von traditionellen Bieren, da es wesentlich mehr Aufwand und Zeit braucht.

Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle, picked up from the brewery, on my 6 country road trip. Poured at home in Jersey. It's amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of tea, flora, orange, pepper, caramel, earth & malt. Medium body. Slightly peppered finish

opalescent orange colour, large, dense off-white head; aroma and taste of green tea, some pear, peach, earthy-wine cellary and some grainy notes; good one

16th April 2018, at the monthly beer exchange in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Thanks Mat for this 33cl bottle and the Raclette Cheese melted on a slice of brown bread to have with it. Little haze to the amber pour, white topping. Mild tea like aroma and taste with a peppery twist in both the nose and flavour. Glad we tried it with the Raclette, helped the beer no end.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 18, brought by myself. Paired with raclette. Pours a generally clear gold, small white head. Aroma is peppery, lightly sweet. Taste is similarly peppery, with prominent floral darjeeling, some caramel. Peppery notes seem to work well with the raclette.

Sample at The Festival in Atlanta paired with gruyere cheese. Clear amber color tan head. Caramel and earth aroma. Taste is malty toasted caramel. Interesting.
