Light noble hops but not a ton of character here. May be jaded after just having a really great pilsener by wiseacre. This one's easy drinking, no major flaws but paper thin. Golden pour with decent head. Clean finish with a slight milky kind of finish. Tap on beach at Clearwater.

Yellow can. $2. Typical lager beery aroma. Its actually somewhat clear and pale in the eye, like any lager. Taste is certainly pilsner in nature. Yes, not bad, actually better than the vansur and the mortiz I just had. Was doing a comparison of these last 3 pilsners. This one is probably the better of the 3. Yes there is a pilsner bite, and it is somewhat like the bite of the old country, so its not too far off from what it should be. Not bad overall but could be a little more behaved.

Tap at Sparkmans Wharf in Tampa. Golden colored and nice foamy head and lacing. Tastes grassy and some classic yeast. Crisp and peppery and crushable. Paired well with octopus salad

12 oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale golden, foamy head fades. Grainy aroma and taste, bready. Minor hop bite. Dry finish. Overall, on target.

Part of a mixed 6pack.

It pours a clear straw gold, large head of foam, good lacing.

Big aromas of noble hops, some toasted malt, pleasing and right for the style smell.

Noble hops milder in the taste, some toasted malt, light grain. The finish is decidedly hoppy with a fairly long aftertaste.

Smooth mouthfeel, smooth drinker. I really enjoyed this.

Standard pils, a mix of grainy, cracker-ish malt notes and a moderate floral bitterness on the back end. Grass and white bread show up in the middle, as do mild citrus and apple notes in the fade. Finishes with a minor corn sweetness offsetting the hops, but never develops enough complexity to stand out among the ever-growing number of pils options. Pours straw gold with a brief white head and good lacing. Medium-light body and bright texture make for easy drinking. Fairly easy to kill a pint, but it'll be hard to remember it by tomorrow.
