12 ounce bottle into signature globe glass, bottled on 8/4/2017. Pours crystal clear golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, habanero pepper, honey, brown sugar, toasted bread/crust, light caramel, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with great balance and complexity of pumpkin, peppers, spices, and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, habanero pepper, honey, brown sugar, toasted bread/crust, light caramel, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Light herbal spice bitterness and pepper spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, habanero pepper, honey, brown sugar, toasted bread/crust, light caramel, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of pumpkin, peppers, spices, and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness; along with pepper heat. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.4%. Overall this is a delicious pumpkin ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of pumpkin, peppers, spices, and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Great style example, very clean flavors. Perfectly balanced bready malt and pumpkin/spice notes. Habaneros are done in a tasteful/complementing way, never overpowering the pumpkin ale feel of the brew. Adding a very mild pleasant lingering heat through the glass. A very enjoyable offering.

Clear gold color with a khaki head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Pumpkin pie nose. Light pumpkin pie flavor followed by a mild fireball bite. Not too spicy or hot. Interesting mix, but I wouldn't want more than one.

Like many pumpkin beers with real pumpkin, not just pumpkin spice, it has a similar darkish pumpkin ale color, and a fizzy, swiftly disappearing head. Warm pumpkin pie smell domination by smooth cinnamon nose. The taste starts out more like a pumpkin pastry square. But then the chili pepper kicks in, and delivers a nice spicy kick. You usually find this kind of oddball ingredient mix in a brewpub. Hope it stays around for a few years.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a caramel amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was cinnamon sugar and nutmeg. The flavor was strong cinnamon sugar, candied ginger, nutmeg and a bit of booziness. Very long cinnamon and ginger finish. Medium body. The spices overwhelm. Ok.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma is nutmeg, but even more cinnamon. Breakfast buns! Med body or so. Flavor is cinnamon, nutmeg, and some genuine chili. This is amazing stuff. Let's do cinnamon buns with lots of white sugar frosting and habanero slices! Yeh!! Let's all die!!! Seriously, this is actually pretty fun. Brewers are having too much fun!

Clear copper and bronze coloured body with a dense, thick, four centimetre tall tan head that fades relatively quickly, actually. Aroma of rich spices showing allspice, canella, cloves and nutmeg very pungent, along with some heat noticeable and a good toasted malt backbone throughout that smells a touch grainy. Medium-bodied; Assertive spicey flavour at first with the nutmeg and allspice the strongest, but the heat hits right afterwards and shows very strongly throughout. Aftertaste shows some caramelised sugars on the end with a bit of toasted malt, a faint bit of squash and fuller bodied malts, but the heat and spice flavours dominate the flavours, even at the end. Overall, a nice and rich beer with a lot of spice and pungency, showing a lot more heat than I was expecting and a bit more grain, but a relatively well-balanced beer that shows nicely for the season! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe's in Bailey's Crossroads (Falls Church), Virginia on 04-September-2017 for US$1,67 sampled at home in Washington on 18-September-2017.

Tastes of nutmeg, cinnamon, bread, decent heat from the chillies. First sip, I hated it but deeper in, the heat makes it interesting.

12oz bottle pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is cinnamon malts lots of nice pumpkin pie note. Taste is more of the cinnamon first some spice and pumpkin.
