Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a dark brown almost black color with a frothy off white foamy head that quickly dissipates leaving some super light stringy lace.
The aroma had some coffee beans, milk chocolate with a light lactose/creamy sweetness.
The flavor is basically the same as the aroma with a light lingering sweet creamy to chocolatey aftertaste with a wet sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Smooth silky feel. ABV seems on par.
Overall, good milk/sweet stout as is. But is there supposed to be oatmeal in this? I don’t know, I never tasted or smelled any of it.

Pours a brown-black from a bottle, thin khaki head quickly dissipating. Smells like a coffee milkshake with a scoop of chocolate ice cream thrown in for good measure. Flavor is more coffee than chocolate, but similar to the nose. After sitting rather sweet it ends up with a bitter note. Pretty good for an oatmeal stout, not very thin, just enough to be lighter than a typical stout.
