Bottle. Amber with a quickly fading head and no lacing. Aroma of nuts and caramell. Taste is the same plus some toffee and herbs/spices. Aftertaste is a little bit sour and herbal hoppy. Medium carbonation. A bir watery. It’s alright but I felt the addition of spices/herbs wasn’t necessary.

Draft at Heffer, Amsterdam. Near clear dark amber with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, plastercine, caramel, malt and some dark fruit notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.

At Maakun’s. Bottle courtesy of Maakun. Dark amber/tea brown with greyish head. Smells of sugarated cardboard. Caramel malts, old leaves, tea, faint ginger. Distant dusty sweet, light bitter. Very dry and leathery. Very English, I think. Low carbonation, thin body. Not my... Cup of tea... Nudge nudge wink wink. --- Beer merged from original tick of Venloosch Alt on 21 Nov 2017 at 20:52 - Score: 4. Original review text: 2.3

Bottle shared at home. Clear dark amber with off white head. Cardboard, weird caramel notes that are not sweet at all but very dry, quite herbal, tea, dusty, dry toffee. Light bitter and barely any sweetness. Light bodied with dry feel. Strangely dry, not very good.

Cobriza, abundante espuma efervescente que mantiene unos milimetros. Buen aroma de tono dulce caramelo y algo de fruta, uva. Carbonatacion media alta y cuerpo medio quizas algo aguada. Sabor también dulce y algo afrutada. Miel, caramelo, uva y naranja y algo de pan. Le falta algo de fuerza, pero es sabrosa.

Bottle. Not much aroma, not much taste. Light notes of creamy malt, caramel and fruity yeast. Boring beer.

Clear red copper colour, good frothy off-white head. Aroma caramel, nuts, toast, light herbs, earthy, touch of liquorice. Medium sweet and bitter taste, light to medium body, oily texture. Creamy, nice bitter finish with some sweet malts in the background, not very known beer, deserves more attention.
