Ok ok so like when u think of Strata hops, you think of the Stratosphere. Or, a random breakfast casserole… or maybe a golf ball. But MOSTLY you think of the sky. This big blue vast space, the layers, the ozone, the UV rays… that come from the SUN! And you know what the sun does sometimes? It will Eclipse! Just like the hops from Australia. Which you can look at, also touch, smell and consume – UNLIKE the solar version. And the sun is up even higher in the sky – it’s technically outside the sky because it’s in space. It has its own system! And we’re IN it. So the obvious choice in all of this is to pair these two hops together, where the sun meets the sky, paired with a big pizza pie. Or other food. Wait, why are we talking about food? Fuck we’re hungry.

Draft, 7oz pour at the brewery on 10th August 2025. Cloudy dull amber/yellow body, thin white crust. Strada hops doing their thing, tropical fruits and a light cannabis feel throughout the beer.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Specual Brews. Dense juicy haze, bright golden, plenty of foam head and lacing. Smooth drinking hazy, low bitter but flavorful hops with tropical tones. Cool melon and tropical like finish. Aroma doesn't remind me of an IPA outside the west coast substyle. Juicy, unique IPA. Good stuff.
