Dominus Double is a refreshing abbey beer with a long-lasting flavour, leaving a well-balanced bitter aftertaste with a spicy touch. Roasted and quite hoppy, the aromas develop elegantly with hints of old, slightly dry wood. It has a crystalline colour, dark red with caramel highlights. The head is thick and creamy.

Dominus Double is ideal for accompanying smoked game or moist dark chocolate desserts.

Cork-top bottle, 0.75l, shared with colleagues. Aroma is caramelly, dried fruity and yeasty. Pours clear brown color with large thick soapy tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly and dried fruity, following is lightly roasted, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Cheap, but not a trick…

Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en heel licht bitter met iets van karamel, chocolade en noot. Helaas niet echt intensief en vrij waterig, jammer.
