Voor de Leffe Royale Crystal selecteerden onze meester-brouwers de Crystal hop die geteeld wordt op de Westkust van de Verenigde Staten. Dit zonnige bier ontplooit aroma’s met tropische toetsen van passievrucht, perzik, abrikoos en sinaasappel. Dankzij de drooghoptechniek ontwikkelt de hop een rijke en tegelijk delicate smaakharmonie met fijnbittere toetsen.

It is a drinkable IPA we could say an IPA from leffe, with the eternal taste of candy sugar and the typical yeast from this brewery. 05.09.2016

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een goudbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppig en kruidig aroma. De smaak is kruidig en hoppig.

Bottled 330ml (Saveur)
Clear deep golden color, small white head. Hop pellety aroma with light fruity notes. Light to medium-bodied. Flavor has riped fruits (dark grape), grassy and hop pellety. Quite sweet, even perfumic candyish. Industrial and a bit odd Leffe version.

Bottled@AIH66 Beer Session (from Saveur Biere). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some nice herbal notes as well. Flavour is berries, some slight floral, herbal and mild apples and kind of mustardy notes as well.

Clear mid brown beer with small and quickly disappearing head. Aroma has grain, yeast, flowers and some honey. Taste has belgium yeast, flowers, grass and honey. Some hints of alcohol can be found. Mid balanced, low carbonation. Quite ok, but nothing special.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Clear golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hops, sweet, softly bitter. Ok beer, but not a lot of difference between them.
