Bottle. Murky Brown color. Malt, citrus and speculaas in THE aroma. Malty sweet, spicy yeasty alcoholic flavor with speculaas. Thinnish. Disappointing.

Le naturel n'a pas que du bon. Mais ce n'est pas la première fois que je m'en rends compte, et nombre de bière dites bio ou naturelle, ne sont finalement pas au rendez-vous escompté. Et cette Smiske brille par son manque d'équilibre et ses arômes peu intéressants. Il paraît que le brasseur a mis 4 sortes de houblon...c'est gâcher du houblon, tant ceux-ci sont de toute façon méconnaissables (Hallertauer, Challenger, Goldings et Magnum). En verre, c'est une robe blond doré parée d'un très léger voile qui se présente à nous. Pas mal, mais l'effervescence mal maîtrisée et trop poussée donne naissance à une mousse blanc cassé aérée trop abondante (5 cm). Le nez est loin d'être exceptionnel : autour d'un duo acidité, amertume, ce sont des arômes d'agrumes et de coriandre qui se dévoilent. A la dégustation, l'acidité prend très largement le pas. D'ailleurs, nous sommes en définitive davantage sur une hoppy sour qu'une blonde. Mais une hoppy sour pas réussie ! A l'attaque l'acidité laisse paraître tout de même des arômes de mandarine, citron et coriandre. Le reste est d'une linéarité bluffante... Le tout porté pas un alcool à 7 % aux abonnés absent, 35 d'IBU dissout dans l'acidité et une ampleur insuffisante... (la longueur est tout de même acceptable). Bref, bière peu équilibrée et peu intéressante. La triple Karmeliet est peut-être industrielle et pas bio, mais elle est bonne !

Bottle shared. Fairly hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of big yeast, caramel, herbs, tart weird infected notes, rotting carbonation compost, garbage. Ohhhh shut this is bad. Flavour is heavy sweet moderate to heavy sour. Dreadful awful infected terrible and down the drain..

Clear golden, small offwhite head. Light malty aroma. Rough, malty flavour, something artificial. Some spice and alcohol but again rather rough.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of bread, malt, caramel and fruit, with notes of hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and fruit, with bready and hoppy notes and some flowery touches. Lively carbonation, but the body is rather thin. Bitter and rough aftertaste. Drinkable but nothing special as such.

Bottle. Aroma of burnt plastic. Almost clear golden colour. OK stable white head. The flavour is not good. Lots of burnt plastic. Some raw liquorice, slightly spicy. Not a full-blown plastic beer, but not good either.

33cl Bottle from Drankenservice Francoise. Hazy golde orange colour, fizzy white head. Aroma of peach, apple, yeast, plastic, rubber. Flavour is mainly dead yeast, plastic, light fruity, some maltiness, firm herbal and yeasty plastic bitter finish. Light-bodied, over-carbonated, and really not good.
