200ml draught at TMB. Golden-yellow body, cloudy, spotty lacing from a decent white head. Inviting smell of citrus. Fresh and sharp hop fruity taste, moments of grapefruit and pineapple, juicy malts beneath. A welcome fruity bitterness to a lingering end. Fine depth to it. Pleasing. (Tromsø, 28.08.2025).

440 ml can, as Salikatt Pan Pan New England Double IPA, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 8.0%. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate but lasting white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits: pineapple, mango, papaya and guava. The flavour is fruity / juicy but not too sweet, notes of said fruits though, hints of pine needles and sprucetips in the finish.

For en gangs skyld foran Nilsas med denne 0,44 boksen fra Statens profylakseavdeling i Herbarium. Jeg trosser indre kamper og deler den utelukkende med meg selv, i den frilynte grunnforsknings navn: her er alt som forventet - utseende, aroma og smak trenger inn i hjertet uten å forstyrre virksomheten der, snarere tvert i mot.
